Baja Endurance Challenge Series Final

Every race during the summer will all lead to the Baja Endurance Challenge Series Final race! Read on for all the details!

The Baja Endurance Challenge Series Final race will take place the first weekend of September 2008.

The schedule for the weekend is as follows:

FRIDAY	09:00-12:00 Registration and Booking-In at the Hotel Mon
	12:00-13:00 Driver Reception at Town Hall
	13:00-15:00 Technical Inspection at Race Track
	15:00-19:00 Free Practice
	20:00 Driver Buffet at Hotel Mon (guests must pay 25 Euro)
SATURDAY	10:00-11:00 Qualifying (2 laps per team)
	11:30 Team Presentation
	12:00-00:00 Final Race (12 hours)
SUNDAY	00:30 Prize Presentation and Raffle
	Driver Party after Presentation

The race track will be specially built on a grassy field, just for this one race. A large driver stand, pit area, pit lanes, refueling area, lights, tables and more will be ready to handle up to 20 4-6 person racing teams.

The town you will be racing in called Sant Fruitós del Bages, and is located in a beautiful area of northwest Spain just 60km from Barcelona, surrounded by foothills and walking paths.

When arranging your travel, you can fly into Barcelona or the smaller aiport of Girona outside of Barcelona.

The rules are designed to make sure every team has an equal chance at winning, strictly enforcing HPI parts only while allowing certain modifications that will help improve the durability of the Baja. In general, the Baja must remain relatively stock, although Baja SS options are allowed, as well as certain tweaks such as front window, shock covers, pullstarter cover, etc.

Qualifying racers from each EU country participating in the HPI Baja Endurance Challenge Series will be invited to attend in teams of 4 to 6 racers, using one car per team! Each participating country will have at least one racing team, making this a race for national pride as well as for bragging rights!

The number of qualifying teams that will be invited per country will depend on the number of races held in each country, and the number of racers per qualifying race. All of the qualifying teams will be invited to the Baja Endurance Challenge Series Final, plus they will get a great bonus package!

The entry fee for each team member will be 99 Euro, payable in advance to HPI Europe. A minimum of four team members are necessary to form a team, with six members maximum per team.

We must be informed by the 8th of August of all team members to make sure that the team is properly entered into the event.

The qualifying races in each country will finish by early August. We must have the details of all the members of each team, as well as the total payment, by August 8. This will be arranged by your country's distributor. This will allow us to book hotel rooms.
