RC Car Action Car of the Year Award for the Baja SS!

The Baja SS has taken the title of 2008 Editor's Choice Car of the Year from the staff of Radio Control Car Action!

Praised for its value, innovation, durability, popularity, scale realism and convenience, the Baja 5B and build-it-yourself Baja SS were roundly praised by the editors of RC Car Action, one of the longest-running RC car & truck magazines in the United States.
The Baja has been 120 miles across the Mojave desert traveling from Southern California to Las Vegas, Nevada, it's been on an 859 mile (1380km) round trip around the perimeter of Iceland, we'll have a huge crowd of Baja racers doing a 12-hour endurance race in Spain later this year, and now the Baja buggy has earned its first major award!

Many congratulations are in order for Akira Kogawa, the designer of the Baja buggy! We can't wait to see what's next from HPI!
