Check out the HPI Bullet Flux at McLaren Formula 1!
Several weeks ago, the HPI crew was invited to the McLaren Technical Centre (MTC) to help film a promotional video for the Vodafone McLaren Formula One racing team.
We got to work directly with 2008 World Champion Lewis Hamilton and his race strategist, filming in-car footage and provding any assistance that was required during the day. |
The Bullet Flux ST was used as the exclusive vehicle for the shoot because it could provide the speed, control and looks McLaren was looking for!
A variety of actual Formula 1 car parts were used as obstacles to make the track, including the old style grooved tyres and wheels, axles, brake ducts, fitted race seats and more - it made for a great track and a wonderful experience, as we were surrounded by historic McLaren race and road cars, hundreds of race trophies and McLaren employees busy building next year's race car! |
