Set it tight for high-bite tracks, and set it looser for low-grip surfaces. The slipper clutch allows you to worry less about precise throttle control and get more power to the ground as quickly as possible. Racer Tip: If you can hear or sense the slipper slipping for more than a couple of metres, tighten it by 1/8 of a turn for extra grip and acceleration.
